Subject: benefit of the doubt
Bowman is playing politics, from what we have seen he is usually careful to stay at the edges of asserting things he cannot back up with fact or his personal experience. Surely you can understand that he is wary of being smeared as an extremist, i don't think that's two faced but cautious.

Subject: Two Faced
Dr. Bowman shows how two-faced he is on these issues by an appearance on Fox News's Hannity & Colmes on July 13, 2006:

SEAN HANNITY: All right. So you believe this is an inside job. You believe this was a controlled demolition as he does? Do you believe that, you know, Madrid and Bali and Zarqawi carried out by military intelligence, you believe these conspiracy theories?

DR. BOB BOWMAN (D), FLORIDA CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE: No. As a matter of fact, I believe that the truth about 9/11 is that we don't know the truth about 9/11, and we should.

I'm agnostic about these conspiracy theories. I think Professor Barrett has every reason to say his âÂÂ- expound his theories just as you do yours. I mean, we know it was a conspiracy.

I'm certainly no fan of Hannity & Colmes, but he does show where this guy really stands. He's an extremist who will jump on the bandwagon of any conspiracy theorist who is in style. Notice how in the video he doesn't stay on topic about 9/11 for more than a minute. In fact, he seems more concerned about the evils of capitalism and the decline of "family values" instead of focusing on the topic of the forum: why he believes American government orchestrated 9/11.

Don't give people like this the benefit of your time. They are selective in picking and choosing what they want to report to fit their agendas. If you would like another perspective on these conspiracy theorists, I would suggest the December 2006 issue of Skeptic magazine. 9/11 is not a conspiracy.

By the way, this nutjob lost his bid for Congress.
